About

Hello and welcome to Restaurant Manager Secrets.com.  This site is the home of the lovable and eloquent Round Table Guys.

The mission of this site is to deliver relevant content that will help all service industry operators.  Whether you are an old school manager, a know it all manager, an awesome manager… we want to help.

For all the up and comers out there…you know who you are!!!  We will help you get a jump on moving up in your company from hourly to management in record time.

Tick, Tick, Move!!

After all you promotable types come with a lot more knowledge of operations then your new GM that the company just hired from a burger joint via Monster.com.

What to expect?

Glad you asked.  REAL SOLUTIONS to REAL ISSUES.  The RoundTable Guys (aka RTG) have been in the Biz for decades.  What we don’t know is minimal.  What we do know is that we can draw that management champion right out of you.  RTG has a proven record in real operations of developing talent, calling out people and consultants on their know it all bullshit, and most importantly we get RESULTS every day in real operations!!!

How is that?  RTGs are still in daily operations in a restaurant near  you.  We are everywhere.  So, leave a fat tip to the chubby 40 year old waiting on you.  He might be a RTG covering a section for someone who called out.

Let’s discuss what we do on this site…

  • First and foremost the content here is free of charge.  We do have an e-book and have more coming that are of premium nature.  “Restaurant Manager Psyche” is our debut e-book and we are proud to say that we’ve helped hundreds of established and upcoming operators as a result of it’s existence.
  • We delve into real life situations that haunt us in our sleep.  Namely, customer relations.  They are the top line people so get with the program.  Through out this blog you will find colorful stories about the customer.  If you still call your top line people “GUEST” then hold on for the psychological brow beating you are about to endure.
  • Interviews!!  We love to do them.  Experts are essential to the grooming process.  Listen, as the RTG probe the brains of some of the most established people involved in operations and restaurant marketing.
  • Down Time…bring your laptop to work?  We do.  While “touching your paperwork once” you can enjoy the variety of music that we’ve found to be relaxing and violent all at the same time.
  • Guest Writers…We search the web and find articles that are helpful and kewl.  If you have one you’d like to submit you may send us the link or the actual article.  All credit will be given to the author.  Just keep it real.  Marry Poppins don’t fucking live here.
  • VIDEOS…Our industry puts out some great entertainment.  Ramsey, Bordaine, Adam, Zim!! We love them all.  So from time to time we will throw our favorite clips on the “video” page.  If you have a favorite send us the link on our FB fan page or tweet it to us.   We love to share!!
  • Opinions…we like polls too.  When you take our polls it helps us with checking the pulse of our viewers.  Sometimes we even get writer’s block.  So inspire us!

Now you may have noticed that we don’t have an “auto-responder” type sign up.  There is a reason for that!!! We hate email.  We love getting “actual” email but not so much the robotic kind.  That being said if you would like to correspond with us you may do so at restaurantroundtablesolutions@gmail.com.  We will write you back!!  Imagine that…an actual email written just to you.  No shit!!

We'll conquer that darkside...Together!!

So help us bring sexy back as we hold hands and frolic together down this crazy road of customer service and running numbers that will keep your boss out of your ass!  That’s why we are here.

Enjoy the show.  As Jim Rome says…”Have a take…Don’t suck!”
